The Pentax Q10 is a new Q-system mirrorless camera sporting a 12.4MP sensor and 1080p HD video capture. The Q10 retails for $599.95 with a kit lens and should be available in October.

Along with the Q10, Pentax also announced a new 15-45mm f/2.8 lens, which covers an effective focal length on Q-system cameras of 83-249mm. The new 15-45mm f/2.8 lens will be available in October for $299.95.
Finally, Pentax unveiled a K-mount adapter for the Q system that allows you to use Pentax K-mount lenses on the tiny Q system cameras. The 5.5x crop factor on the Pentax Q system means that using the new adapter with the Pentax 300mm f/4 ED[IF] SDM lens will yield an effective focal length of 1650mm on the Pentax Q10.
The new Pentax Adapter Q will be available later this year for $249.95.
